Amazon slashes prices on Game of Thrones books ahead of Black Friday

This Black Friday, Amazon is giving fans deals on A Song of Ice and Fire novels, Game of Thrones coffee table books, and Westeros-themed booze.

With the pandemic still raging around the world, it’s going to be a little hard for shoppers to engage in the traditional Black Friday tradition of crowing into stores to snap products off shelves and share in the sweet, sweet savings. But we can still go online, and retailers are lining up the deals.

For instance, Amazon is slashing the prices on lots of Game of Thrones stuff, from the novels in the Song of Ice and Fire series to spinoff books that give fans a look behind the scenes to dragon-themed whiskey. Although American prices are cut, too, the deepest discounts seem to be on the UK version of the site, so let’s take a look there.

To start, Amazon has slashed the price on the very fancy, leather-bound hardcover editions of some of the Song of Ice and Fire books, cutting the price of A Storm of Swords from £70.00 ($93.40) to £35.00 ($46.70):

Meanwhile, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons and going for £35.00, down from £75.00.

There are also some great Game of Thrones coffee table books on sale, including The Art of Game of Thrones: The Official Book of Design from Season 1 to Season 8, which is just what it sounds like. That ones going for £30.00, fully half the cost of the usual price.

Fans can get the same deal on The Photography of Game of Thrones: The Official Photo Book of Season 1 to Season 8.

Finally, there’s a sale on . Curiously, that one is only 45% off, from £33.00 down from £60.00. But hey, a deal’s a deal.

But what if you don’t want to read about Game of Thrones? What if you want to drink Game of Thrones? Well, Amazon has you covered there, too. The Johnnie Walker Song of Ice, the Johnnie Walker Song of Fire and the Game of Thrones White Walker whiskey are all on sale for £27.49, down from £34.00.

Or if you’re really in the mood you could get the bundle with all three bottles, although this stuff can’t be shipped overseas.
