Five things we want to see in The Expanse season 5

Catching up with the Belters

Since the crew of the Rocinante was away on an alien planet for the entirety of last season, it’ll be nice to see them back home and dealing with the new Belter threat. Since this season seems Belt-centric, it would make sense to bring back important Belter characters like Fred Johnson and Anderson Dawes.

Despite possessing a protomolecule sample and serving as the head of Tycho Station, we haven’t seen much of Fred recently. He made a brief appearance in season 4, but that’s about it. Happily, if the trailer is any indication, we’ll see more of him in season 5.

And while we’re at it, we want to see Jared Harris return as Anderson Dawes. This character hasn’t been onscreen since season 2. He’s another important figure in the system, in this case because of how embedded he is in the OPA. He also steals every scene he is in, so we’d love to see him turn up again.

All of these people must have an opinion on what Marco is doing. Will Fred or Dawes join Marco, or will they fight against him?
