Five things we want to see in The Expanse season 5

Drummer’s revenge

At the end of season 4, Klaes Ashford boards Marco Inaros’ ship and goes all John Wick on his crew. Ashford seemingly has Inaros right where he wants him, but the space pirate’s plan is foiled thanks to Filip. Father and son eject Ashford into space, which made for a tragic yet memorable death scene at the very end of the season.

Camina Drummer spent all of season 4 and the last half of season 3 getting close to Klaes Ashford. That made her unique, since from the moment he was introduced, nobody trusted the space pirate. But as they spent more time with each other, it became clear they were beginning to respect and like each other.

In their last scene together, Drummer asks Ashford to share a drink with her, showing how friendly she had gotten with him. We should’ve known he was a dead man when he refused the drink until after he returned from his mission.

I’m curious to see how Drummer will react to Ashford’s death. In the season 5 trailer, we see her looking for his ship, which could suggest that she’s going after Marco. There’s one shot where Drummer and Marco are face to face inside a ship, possibly his.

Maybe Drummer could team up with Naomi and go after Marco with a partner?
