Ahsoka or another Jedi will help Mando

Since Grogu reached out through the Force on Tython, we’ve been curious about who will come and answer his call. The Mandalorian takes place after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, so not many Jedi are left. So who will come to Grogu’s aide?

It’s possible that Ahsoka could return once she learns Grogu is in trouble. She might feel responsible for his kidnapping and help Mando rescue him. After all, Grogu was captured on the planet that Ahsoka sent them to. It’ll be nice to see Ahsoka pop back up since she stole the show in “Chapter 13: The Jedi.” Also, if the Dark Troopers are with Gideon, then they should be no problem for Ahsoka.

If Ahsoka does not return, then we don’t have many options left. Maybe Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels? We doubt it. Luke Skywalker? Hopefully, but not likely.

The Mandalorian could shock everyone and pull a character from the games. Cal Kestis, the main character of 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, could appear. This season referenced Operation: Cinder from 2017’s Star Wars: Battlefront II, and the Dark Troopers were taken directly from the 1995 game Dark Forces, so it wouldn’t be too out of the blue to introduce another video game character.

It could be another opportunity to connect The Mandalorian with the other Star Wars properties. Plus, it would be great to see Cameron Monaghan hold a lightsaber.
