Video: It’s The Witcher but everyone has lightsabers

Geralt of Rivia trades in his trusty sword for a lightsaber in this reworked version of an iconic fight scene from The Witcher on Netflix.
Today we bring you something simple but delightful: it’s a fight scene from the Netflix fantasy hit The Witcher, but instead of using swords, Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) and everyone else battles with lightsabers:

Well, there’s a little more. That particular fight scene was drawn from the pilot episode of the show. The video was put together by Redditor fullgearsnow, who’s proudly working in the tradition of other heroes who have inserted lightsabers into random scenes.
I can’t help it if lightsabers make everything better.
But you know what’s (arguably) better than lightsabers on TV? Making on in real life. That’s what YouTuber the Hacksmith did, creating a real-life retractable plasma-based lightsaber:

What should we add lightsabers to next? Downton Abbey? The Office? Are we at a point where people can start selling tickets to one-on-one lightsaber battles? Is light speed travel next? The questions begin with an innocent video about Geralt of Rivia decapitating a guy with a lightsaber, but they continue into infinity.
