After Evan Rachel Wood and other women accused Marilyn Manson of abuse, his label has dropped him and he’s being removed from episodes of TV shows.

The other day, Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood posted on her Instagram a message detailing abuse she suffered at the hands of Marilyn Manson — real name Brian Warner — when they were dating and briefly engaged over a decade ago, when Wood was in her late teens and Warner in his late ’30s. Wood accused Warner of “grooming” her and subjecting her to “horrific abuse” for years:

Since then, at least three other women have posted accusations against Warner on Instagram. The blowback has been swift. Manson’s music label, Loma Vista Records, has dropped him, AMC’s Shudder has pulled Manson’s episode of its horror anthology series Creepshow, and Deadline reports that Starz will remove him from upcoming episodes of American Gods, where he plays Johan Wengren, a Norse “berserker” and the lead singer in Viking death metal band Blood Death.

“Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season,” a network spokesperson said in a statement. “Starz stands unequivocally with all victims and survivors of abuse.”

Manson’s character played a pretty big role in the latest episode of the show, “The Unseen,” and was also going to appear in the next one, “Sister Rising,” which will air on Sunday, February 14 after the show takes a week off for the Super Bowl. The extra week should give Starz some time to figure out how to remove Manson’s character without messing up the flow of the new season.

American Gods star Yetide Badaki (Bilquis) came out in support of Wood and other woman accusing Manson of abuse. “I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and these brave women,” she simply tweeted yesterday. Manson’s agency CAA is also considering dropping him.
