Netflix dropped the fourth and final season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina last year, on New Year’s Eve. But as it ended up, the cast didn’t realize this was going to be the last season at the time filming ended.

Chance Perdomo, who played Ambrose Spellman on this Archie Comics adaptation, recalled his final day on set while speaking with SYFY Wire. Had he known that it would be the last time he’d get to play Ambrose, he would have certainly done it differently.

"We did 10 months shooting for each season of Sabrina. Toward the end of each season, everyone gets antsy to go home and see the family. I was one of the last people to leave, so I was itching to go. Had I known it was the last time, I would have taken it in a lot more. […] When I heard, ‘That’s a wrap for Chance Perdomo,’ Michelle in the makeup department put on ‘Take a Chance on Me’ on the speakers and I went around high-fiving and fist-bumping everyone. It was lovely, but we didn’t know that would be it. So I look back and I don’t have too much memory of my final moments, because I thought I would be back in a second. There’s that saying from Winnie the Pooh, ‘We didn’t know we were making memories. We were just having fun.’"

But I don’t think we need to give up all hope just yet. After all, there’s always a chance for a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina revival, or maybe The CW’s Riverdale can find a place for Ambrose. Given that the character doesn’t age, he could fit into the show, which has now jumped seven years ahead. Just saying, it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

Would Chance Perdomo return for a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina revival?

The answer is, yes, absolutely, he would.

"It’d be interesting to explore Ambrose’s story once more. Whether it’s what happens after Sabrina or perhaps before, [like] what happened to get him under house arrest for trying to blow up the Vatican. I’d be interested in that. It would be fun."

Honestly, my vote is for an Ambrose Spellman spinoff series. He’s such an interesting character with a peculiar background we ought to know more about! Netflix (or The CW), the ball is in your court now — make it happen!

While we sit around and wait for a potential revival or spin-off, fans can get more Chance Perdomo in their lives with his latest sci-fi podcast The Cipher, which he does with The Witcher’s Anya Chalotra. “When 16-year-old Sabrina cracks the cryptic Parallax, she’s recruited to track down a serial killer…who might not be from this world,” reads the description.

And no, Chalotra doesn’t play that Sabrina. Weird coincidence, though. “It does feel different than a hit TV show in the sense that it was a lot more unexpected,” Perdomo said. “This was just a project we all wanted to do together, the stars aligned and it was a great passion piece. It’s incredible that this niche release has become this audio blockbuster.”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina may be over, but it looks like Perdomo’s adventures are just getting started!

Of course Tom Holland would also like to play James Bond. dark. Next
