Game of Thrones: Let’s dreamcast a Robert’s Rebellion prequel show
Lysa Tully
1. Anya Taylor-Joy
What can’t this young actress do? Anya Taylor-Joy is a star on the rise who has quickly become a household name with performances in The Witch, Young Mutants, Emma and The Queens Gambit, which hoisted her profile. She has experience with period pieces, fantastical worlds, and characters with devious intentions. She’d be well cast as the rambunctious, beautiful, passionate, possibly slightly unstable young woman who falls for Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish even though he doesn’t have her best interests at heart.
2. Florence Pugh
Here’s another Oscar-nominated superstar who would be a huge get for the show. Florench Pugh is one of the best young actresses out there. She could dig into the complexities of Lysa’s relationships with her sister, father and lover, drawing out sympathy for this woman who got lost in the game, and suggesting the aspects of Lysa that would later bloom into paranoia.
3. Millie Bobby Brown
The young Lysa Arryn was beautiful and beguiling, but we know she’ll grow into a woman of suspicion and intensity. If the show wanted to bring that out, perhaps they could hire Millie Bobby Brown and have her channel some of the rawness of her performance as Eleven on Stranger Things. And she’s done plenty of other work since, so you know she can handle anything the writers throw at her.
