Kathryn Hahn hit the ball out of the park as Agnes/Agatha Harkness on WandaVision. Will the character ever return to the MCU?

The series finale of WandaVision aired last week, and as much as I hated to see it go, I loved watching it leave. The emotional last episode concluded with everyone’s new favorite villain Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) trapped in her role as Agnes the nosy neighbor. Even though Agatha is puttering away in Westview unable to use her powers for evil, I have a feeling that we’ll be seeing her again one of these days.

Thankfully, Kathryn Hahn is totally down to return for future Marvel projects. In a recent video interview with The New York Times, Hahn relayed that she would “really, really love it” if she had the opportunity to reprise her role as Agatha Harkness. I think I speak all of us WandaVision fans when I say that it would be an absolute delight to see Kathryn Hahn return to wreak havoc on the MCU.

In the same interview, the actress praised WandaVision for being “a superhero story that is ultimately about grief.” The series, which paid homage to numerous iconic sitcoms, was definitely unique among in that it wasn’t so much about a life-or-death battle for the fate of the world as it was about Wanda dealing with the grief that had been building since she was first introduced to Marvel fans in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The comic book version of Agatha Harkness is fairly different from Hahn’s version of the character. In the comics, Agatha actually helps Wanda hone her powers. I would be very interested to see whether Wanda seeks Agatha’s help to master her skills down the line. Wanda will have to forgive her for trying to drain her powers first!

If you’re in the mood for a good chuckle, then you should check out the hilarious WandaVision parody that recently aired on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:

That “Agatha All Along” song isn’t leaving our heads anytime soon.
