Not long ago, a deepfake casting Stranger Things star Milly Bobby Brown as Princess Leia made the rounds, impressing fans and presaging an era very soon when we won’t be able to tell fake footage from the real thing:

Apparently Millie Bobby Brown makes an excellent subject for deepfakes, because now YouTuber Jarkan has cast her as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies. Take a look:

I could see it. It’s almost too easy though. If people are going to keep making Millie Bobby Brown deepfakes, why not take on more of a challenge. Millie Bobby Brown as Voldemort, maybe; let’s see you pull off that, internet.

But seriously, this is well done. And Jarkan has plenty more where that came from, including deepfakes of Jim Carey as Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Cruise as Poe Dameron from the Star Wars sequels, and more. Check them out.

We’re probably not getting remakes of the Harry Potter movies or the original Star Wars trilogy any time soon, but if they ever happen, I feel like I know who producers will call first.
