9. The GrandPotters

Before James and Lily, there were Fleamont and Euphemia, or as fans knew them before Pottermore provided more details in 2015, Charlus Potter and Dorea Black.

If HBO Max doesn’t adapt the love story between James and Lily, they might show us what happened between his parents. Very little is known about them, but as Harry’s grandparents, fans would probably feel compelled to watch their story. We know Fleamont and Euphemia were ancient by the time James was born, but we don’t know how old they were exactly, so this prequel could take place against the backdrop of pretty much any important Wizarding World events of the previous century.

Fleamont was a pureblood wizard whose father Henry sat on the Wizengamot, but he probably didn’t think much of pureblood culture. He opted not to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a political career, instead becoming an entrepreneur and creating Sleekeazy’s Hair Potion. He made a fortune with it and sold the company upon retirement. Nothing much is known about Euphemia.

The couple never thought they would have children, but clearly, they were mistaken.
