Hawkeye

Release Date: Late 2021

Cast: Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Free, Tony Dalton

Hawkeye has never had the same amount of screen time as the other members of the Avengers, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a story of his own to tell.

  1. Fans have always wanted to see more of Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, particularly after he became the vengeful Ronin following the Blip. The Hawkeye series could be a chance to dive into the gap between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and how Clint Barton dealt with the loss of everyone he loved.
  2. Hailee Steinfeld will star as Kate Bishop, a talented archer who follows in Clint’s footsteps. With Natasha Romanoff out of the picture, it will be nice to see Clint with a crimefighting partner again.
  3. In this show, Clint Barton will be dealing with hearing loss. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to the challenge of not being able to rely on his hearing. Clint won’t be the only member of the MCU with hearing issues, as Lauren Ridloff’s character in Eternals is also deaf. This is yet another step that Marvel is taking to make the MCU a more inclusive place. That includes not depicting physical and mental challenges as disabilities or hardships but as things that make characters special and even more powerful.
