Skrulls have been on Earth for a while now, but they might not be the only extraterrestrials in our midst…

  1. Captain Marvel introduced the idea that there were already visitors from other worlds on Earth long before Thor and Loki showed up. Upcoming MCU movie Eternals revolves around the idea that there have been immortals on Earth for a long time, and now there will be a larger focus on the Skrulls, who have been here for a while, too. The show could really deepen MCU mythology.
  2. Any time Nick Fury is on screen is a treat. Samuel L. Jackson deserves every spotlight Marvel can offer him, and playing Nick Fury allows him to play action scenes as well as show off his trademark dry humor. He’s been on the periphery of the MCU for a long while, and it’s past time for him to topline his own story.
  3. Since the Skrulls are shapeshifters, they could be anywhere. What makes Secret Invasion so enticing is that there is no end of the kind of stories that could spin out of Fury’s quest to find them.
