Richard Madden as Ikaris in Eternals

Madden has been cast in the same film, which means we’re getting a Stark sibling reunion. Madden plays Ikaris, a god-like being from an ancient race who possesses the powers of flight, super-strength, super-speed, durability and heat vision. He’s basically Marvel’s version of Superman.

Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho in Dune

This upcoming sci-fi epic from Dennis Villenevue has an amazing cast. Frank Herbert’s Dune has never had a truly great screen adaptation, but casting Momoa as the charismatic House Atreides master swordsman Duncan Idaho should help. I won’t say more about the character as to not spoil the film, just know that we’re in for some brilliant fight scenes from a guy who knows how to do them well.

Dune is scheduled to be released in October, 2021.

Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) as Lucifer in The Sandman

Gwendoline Christie is an inspired casting choice to play the Lord of Hell in Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s beloved graphic novel The Sandman. You need someone with a powerful presence for this role, and Christie definitely has that.

Netflix has yet to announce when the new series will be released, but fans are gushing over their casting decisions. Speaking of…

Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) as Roderick Burgess in The Sandman

Another brilliant choice from the casting department at Netflix. Dance takes on the role of disgraced magus Roderick Burgess. Game of Thrones fans will feel right at home watching Dance play a proud man willing to go to extreme lengths to get what he wants.
