Stephanie Corneliussen as Poison Ivy

Stephanie Corneliussen is no stranger to playing the villain; she played the intense, manipulative Joanna Wellick in Mr. Robot, and she was great at it, standing out amid a cast of standouts. Fans are eager for more, and a turn as one of Batman’s most iconic enemies might be the perfect next step.

Corneliussen absolutely has the level of menace needed to play Poison Ivy in the DCEU, and she’ll be the first to tell you. In a now-deleted tweet, the 34-year-old actress pitched herself for the role. “Can I be your Poison Ivy??” she tweeted, alongside a red-haired Ivy-esque picture of herself.

This wasn’t the only time she’s publicly put herself forward for the role. She’s done it several times in the past, to no avail. Corneliussen wants it, and so do I!
