Have you ever walked into a Build-A-Bear workshop and longed to dress up your stuffed bear in a Frodo or Gandalf costume? Or just wanted a Lord of the Rings bear? Well, our wish is Build-A-Bear’s command!

According to Nerdist, the beloved company is doing a limited release of plushie Lord of the Rings bears. This is not a new edition, but rather a limited-edition reissue of previous Lord of the Rings collaborations that have been sold out for a very long time.

When you head to the Build-a-Bear website, you’ll see that the Frodo and Gandalf gift sets, the seven-inch Gollum plush, and the plush sword are all sold out. However, you can sign up for the email mailing list here to learn when the collection will be available later this year.

There could even be additional Lord of the Rings merchandise that becomes available, so all you Samwise fans out there: don’t lose hope! We just might get him and plenty of other beloved characters in the months to come. My vote is for Legolas, Aragorn, and Samwise.

Each complete set costs around $65 and will come pre-loaded with five sounds from the films. That means iconic lines like Gandalf’s “You shall not pass!” Build-A-Bear doesn’t explicitly say that  they’re using Elijah Wood or Sir Ian McKellen’s voices, but if you listen, you can tell it’s definitely them.

The Frodo bundle comes with his signature cloak, adorable jacket, shirt, and pants combo, and of course, a pair of hairy Hobbit feet. The Gandalf bundle (probably the cutest one) comes with the wizard’s hat, the long gray hair and beard, and the robe, cape, and staff. You can also get a Sting plush sword for $6 for Frodo before he heads off into battle against the army of plush Orcs we hopefully get in the future.

Considering the sets are already sold out, signing up for the email mailing list is the best option to potentially get your hands on this ridiculously adorable set of Lord of the Rings plush bears. Good luck to all those that are trying!

Next. The first two episodes of Loki promise everything you could want. dark
