This tattoo shouts out three leading men of The Wheel of Time. The dragon represents Rand al’Thor, a wolf with golden eyes Perrin Aybara, and a red hand for everyone’s favorite scoundrel Mat. And a classic wheel of time symbol at the top to round everything out.

The red hand in particular is a popular Wheel of Time tattoo choice, which should surprise no one. Mat is one of the most quotable characters in the entire series. Exhibit A: that line around the hand above, in both Old Tongue and common, is a mantra he repeats throughout the books, referencing his supernatural luck.

This fan is bringing their love of the series to a new level, combining Mat’s dice-throwing quote with a dagger and a set of many-sided die used for games like DnD. The colors are also reminiscent of those associated with chakras, though in a different order.
