Marvel: How long is the Loki season finale on Disney+?
By WiC Staff
We’ve seen five episodes of Loki with only one to go. So far, this has been the best of the original Marvel series put out on Disney+, more consistently inventive than WandaVision and more creative than The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I know I can’t wait to see how it ends.
If there’s a downside to Loki, it’s that it’s ending so soon. Disney and Marvel didn’t set out to make shows that would never end, but rather wrap up in a reasonable frame of time so we can be ready for the next one. Happily, at least the five episodes of Loki we’ve seen so far have lasted a good chunk of time each:
- Episode 1: “Glorious Purpose” (52 minutes)
- Episode 2: “The Variant” (55 minutes)
- Episode 3: “Lamentis” (43 minutes)
- Episode 4: “The Nexus Event” (49 minutes)
- Episode 5: “Journey Into Mystery” (50 minutes)
Keeping up with that pattern, we can guess that the finale will be somewhere in the ballpark of 50 minutes. It’s also possible they could supersize things for the grand finale, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high. The longest episode for a Marvel series so far has been “Truth” from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and that was still just 61 minutes long.
Loki season finale title
Marvel has been very secretive about its episode titles, not letting any out of the bag before the episodes drop on Disney+. So your guess is as good as mine there. We’ll find out together when the Loki season (possibly series) finale airs next Wednesday, July 14 on Disney+!
