Barack Obama learns what’s going to happen in The Boys season 3

President Barack Obama turned 60 earlier this week, and the producers behind The Boys — Amazon’s gleefully violent anti-superhero superhero series — decided to give him a present: information on what’s going to happen in the show’s upcoming third season.

Or at least they said they were going to DM him the info, this after he revealed that The Boys was one of the shows he enjoyed the most during quarantine lockdown last year.

What if Obama didn’t want to learn what happens with Homelander, Starlight and the rest of the crew, huh, The Boys producers? He still knows people…

Anyway, Obama has been known to enjoy getting free previews of hotly anticipated upcoming shows. Back after the season finale of Game of Thrones season 5, the one where Jon Snow died, he actually got screeners for season 6 when HBO was doing everything it could to hide spoilers from everyone else. I guess you don’t turn down the Commander of the Armed Forces.

The Boys already renewed for season 4?

In other news, the Instagram account voughthq is reporting that Amazon has already renewed The Boys for a fourth season, and this before it’s even revealed a release date for the third. “Although not officially announced, my sources tell me that The Boys has been renewed for another season (no surprise!) and that production starts in 2022,” it reads.

Until there’s an official announcement from Amazon, this remains a rumor, but it wouldn’t be at all shocking. The Boys has been a bit hit for Amazon, and they’ve already greenlit a spinoff about college-aged superheroes (or “Supes,” to use the vernacular of the show). Clearly, Amazon sees a future for the series, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were thinking a couple of seasons ahead.
