Supergirl season 6B (August 24)

Here’s another show that’s ending. Supergirl has been on for six years and has as many seasons. Sadly, we finally must bid Kara Danvers and National City goodbye.

We can only hope that a couple of familiar faces will make appearances in the final season, which is composed of 20 episodes. The first of those were released earlier this year. It will be sad to see Melissa Benoist and the rest of the talented cast go, but Supergirl is succeeded by its spin-off show Superman and Lois, which just wrapped on its first season. Maybe the Supergirl cast will cameo in future seasons?

American Horror Story season 10 (August 25)

The tenth season of Ryan Murphy’s chilling series is right around the corner, and he and his team are still managing to keep things fresh. This time we’re two stories: one called “Red Tide,” which as far as we can tell is about vampires and takes place near a beach; and another called “Death Valley,” which involves some 1950s-era aliens.

American Horror Story has always been campy good fun, and if Murphy and company aren’t bored yet making it, we’re not bored watching it.
