6. Galaxy’s Edge series

This is something that Lucasfilm has been working hard to integrate into its canon: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Star Wars-themed land located in Disney parks in both California and Florida. The Star Wars and Imagineering team put a lot of effort into creating the area and the lore around it, and that effort deserves to be celebrated.

Yes, they probably celebrate whenever a ticket is purchased for Disneyland or Hollywood Studios, but what about seeing Batuu on screen? Perhaps even in an animated series? As with most of the animated series in Star Wars, we usually see the characters do a lot of planet-hopping. So it would be quite new for a Star Wars series to take place in one location.

We’ve already had some instances of the planet of Batuu being used outside of Disney Parks. For example, there are some books revolving around Batuu, including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge A Crash of Fate. Batuu has also found its way into gaming, including the VR game Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge and even The Sims 4.

The lore of Batuu and Black Spire Outpost is already so deep, and a lot more could be created with a dedicated series. Bring us more Hondo, Doc Ondar, and the other magical characters at Black Spire, because we’d love to see them again!
