Can The Walking Dead: World Beyond continue after season 2?

Though the show was only meant to last two seasons, there are plenty of stories that fans hope continue beyond the ending. (Provided, of course, that the characters survive the end of the series.)

The cast is ready to keep going if the opportunity presents itself.

Hal Cumpston: “Yeah, I’ll check my schedule. Yeah.”

Nicolas Cantu: “I can’t give away how we leave Elton, but it was a fun journey. And I want to see where it goes. If they’re doing a bunch of spinoffs they’ve got to get all of this. They have to do one of all of us, but in a different genre. We need to do a new genre inside the TWD Universe. Like a sitcom.”

Jelani Alladin: “One thousand percent. If it means I could be in a room with Nico Tortorella getting messy again, absolutely. And that we get to be bad-ass boyfriends, just saving the day, yes, Sign me up for that. That’s serious. You know, what’s so beautiful about television in general right now, in the television landscape, is that anything could happen at any given point. We could just get one episode, 10 years down the road, with Felix and Will still alive with three amazing kids and having a normal day in their house and having nothing to do with trying to save the world. That could happen. And I’m here for it.”

The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 2 premiere is Sunday, October 3 at 10:00 p.m. EST on AMC, with new episodes available one week early for AMC+ subscribers.
