This weekend, Warner Bros. will run the DC FanDome, an online event where it’ll show off a bunch of the upcoming DC projects it has in the pipeline, including movies like The Flash and Black Adam and TV series like Peacemaker.
But when you’re talking about DC stuff, it always comes back to Batman. The next big swing for the studio is The Batman, a movie starring Twilight veteran Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. There’s a full trailer coming this weekend, but in the meantime, we got a sneak peak at one of the most important aspects of any Bat-performance: the Bat-voice. Have a listen below:

So Pattinson’s Bat-voice is low, growly and kind of giving me ASMR vibes. He’s less guttural than Christian Bale’s famously gravely take and not quite as smooth as Michael Keaton’s version. Do we like it?

The Batman director Matt Reeves also dropped an image from the movie showing Batman surveying Gotham City…or London or Chicago or wherever they shot this. It’s Gotham City, just go with it.
