Wolf-dogs as the Wolves

The Wheel of Time has more than just human characters. In this world, wolves can communicate through telepathy and form close social bonds with their pack, and sometimes, even with select humans.

Archie the Horse as Bela

Bela is a shaggy brown mare owned by Tam al’Thor and ridden by Egwene.

Naana Agyei-Ampadu as Danya

The Wheel of Time TV Series fansite lists British actor Naana Agyei-Ampadu as playing a character named Danya. That name doesn’t appear in the books. It could be a new character of possibly an amalgamation of multiple characters.

Helena Westerman as Laila Aybara

Once again, Redanian Intelligence comes through. There’s no character named Laila Aybara in the books, although the last name Aybara suggests she’s related to Perrin.

There’s no telling the story of The Wheel of Time in just one season of TV. There are a few characters — including important ones — that we won’t meet until season 2:
