Anna and the Apocalypse

It’s a British Christmas zombie musical. Do I need to say anything else?

Anna the Apocalypse stars Dickinson’s Ella Hunt as Anna, who is in the midst of a zombie apocalypse during Christmastime. When zombies take over the town of Little Haven, Anna and her friends have to fight and sing their way through disaster to get to safety. It’s a weird concept, I know, but I’m here for it.

Despite this being a zombie flick, the movie has a heart. Friends come together to fight off zombies, sing their way through the hard times and do whatever they can to get back to their families…it’s about as wholesome as a movie like this gets.

If I had to describe this film I’d say it’s Glee meets The Walking Dead, which is a combination I never knew I wanted. It’s the perfect addition to our list of scary Christmas movies, and we hope you’ll check it out this holiday season. As someone who has watched it, I promise you won’t be disappointed. You may cringe a little, but you’ll be on board for the weird ride that is Anna and the Apocalypse.

You can stream/buy/rent Anna and the Apocalypse through various platforms.
