Black Christmas
While The Nightmare Before Christmas is a family movie, I can assure you that Black Christmas is not. This 1974 slasher film is rated R, perhaps for “rather a lot of blood and gore.”
This movie fits the category of “scary Christmas movie” for obvious reasons, but let us give you the full synopsis. It’s winter break, and a group of sorority girls is heading home for the holidays. However, their break is interrupted by a series of anonymous, obscene phone calls. At first the girls egg the caller on, but things get scary as he starts making full-on threats. And it gets bloodier and bloodier from there.
One by one, the girls go missing or end up dead. The chase to find the killer leads us to some wild places. Who is the killer? Are they nearby? Is it someone the girls know?
You’ll have to tune in to Black Christmas to find out! You can rent/buy Black Christmas on Amazon Prime and Google Play.
