A Christmas Horror Story

All you need to know if right in the title. Canadian horror anthology movie A Christmas Horror Story came out in 2015 and stars — *wait for it* — the William Shatner! Shatner, the holidays, and horror? Sign us up, please.

The movie tells four different stories that include evil spirits, zombie elves, Krampus (he’s back!), and changelings. It has a variety of monsters and gives us a unique take on the scary Christmas movie.

Shatner stars as an alcoholic radio DJ who is working on Christmas. He has a very long night as his listeners call in to warn about the local mall. As Shatner’s character does his job, the movie goes through each of their stories, each one weirder and more frightening than the last.

I did a holiday horror movie binge a couple of years ago and remember watching this. I can’t say that it’s high up on my list, but Krampus is definitely freaky looking, and seeing Shatner in this type of role is fun and unexpected. Don’t count this movie out!
