Red Notice, a heist thriller with some major star power, dropped just last November and quickly became the most successful movie on Netflix. At over 364 million hours viewed in the first 28 days of release, it was a spectacular success, and it was inevitable that the streamer would want more.

And now it’s getting its wish. Deadline reports that Netflix is making not one but two sequels to Red Notice, which will reunite the three thieves played by Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson for another adventure. The original movie was practically begging for a sequel: it ended with the trio planning to pull a job at the Louvre in Paris even as Interpol put out red notice warrants on all three of them (hey, that’s the title of the movie), so the sequel can start there.

And apparently Netflix wants to get even more big-name stars to join the sequels to make one big, extremely famous criminal family. Think of it as this generation’s Ocean’s Eleven.

Of course, the star wattage can make movies like this tricky to do, since all of these people have busy careers. Between Wonder WomanDeadpool and the 30,000 things the Rock is involved with at any given time, it could be tricky for the three main stars to find a time in their schedules to film the new movies together, to say nothing of whoever else Netflix brings on.

But I’m sure Netflix(‘s money) will find a way. Still, don’t expect a new film until 2023 at the earliest.
