Vikings: Valhalla — Netflix — February 25

Once again, this isn’t really a sci-fi or fantasy show, but it has swordfights and armor, so it’s close enough for us.

The original Vikings series wrapped up in 2020 after six seasons, and fans wanted more. The new show will skip forward in time about 100 years to introduce us to a new cast of seafaring warriors, including actual historical figures like Leif Erikson. Expect a lot of politicking, period detail, and brutal medieval battles.

The new series promises to have more action than the original. The first season will drop in its entirely on February 25, and Netflix is planning at least two more.

Killing Eve season 4 — BBC America and AMC — February 28

Killing Eve began life as a cat-and-mouse spy game between a harried MI5 officer (Eve, played by Sandra Oh) and a young assassin (Villanelle, played by Jodie Comer) who were constantly circling each other, ready to strike. Things between the two women have gotten more complicated since then, but things will come to a head in the upcoming fourth season, which will be the show’s last.

As with The Walking Dead, AMC+ subscribers will get to stream new episodes of Killing Eve a week early.

And that’s what’s on this month! And if you want an overview of the entire year…
