If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones or The Lord of the Rings or basically any series where people fight each other with legendary swords, odds are you can get some hands of replicas of your favorite weapons somewhere. For instance, the company Valyrian Steel sells officially licensed versions of weapons from George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, from Ice to Oathkeeper to King Robert’s warhammer.

The catch in that case, of course, is that it’ll cost you. A replica of Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword Longclaw, for instance, runs $270. But there’s another way. Just ask Redditor David-smichael, who created his own version of Longclaw on a 3D printer, right down to the white wolf’s head on the pommel. And as you can see in the video below, it doesn’t look half-bad!

"[NO SPOILERS] I’ve 3D Printed Longclaw! I will never be letting this go 😍🐺 designed by plrmaker7 from gameofthrones"

Worthy of wailing on White Walkers.

You can 3D print your own version of Jon Snow’s Longclaw

While David-smichael printed this masterwork, the design is by plrmaker7, whose work you can check out here. According to Smichael, it’s a perfect replica at 45 inches long.

I don’t own a 3D printer but seeing stuff like this makes me want to invest. And Smichael isn’t done: in that Reddit post, he says he plans to next plans to create replicas of Arya’s Needle and Orcrist from The Hobbit.
