The Lord of the Rings prequel series is off to a strong start, with the first two episodes premiering last week on September 2, and the third one coming out in the early hours of Friday morning. The Rings of Power is a seriously immersive show, transporting us to locations across Middle-earth and introducing us to some familiar faces as well as many new ones.

Sauron, the creator of the One Ring, is a villain we get to know in The Lord of the Rings, and we’re starting to see his rise in the new show. We also get to see Galadriel in her younger years, which has been an absolute treat. There’s so much story to tell here, and I’d say The Rings of Power is doing a great job so far.

We’re looking ahead to the fourth episode now, which will hit Amazon Prime Video in a week’s time. Here’s when you can tune in!

When does The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power episode 4 come out?

This is an Amazon Prime Video series, so the release schedule is a bit wonky. Although the first two episodes were released at the same time the night prior to the scheduled release date in all locations in the United States, the third episode switched things up. Episode 3 premiered on Prime Video at 9:00 p.m. PST on September 8 (or 12:00 a.m. EST on September 9), and the next episode will follow that same template.

So all of that information means that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 4 will be released on Prime Video on Friday, September 16 at 12:00 a.m. EST.
