Natalie Zamora is the VP of Entertainment and Lifestyle Content at Minute Media, the parent company of FanSided and Winter is Coming, where she leads strategy, growth, and storytelling across some of the internet’s most passionate fandoms. A Rutgers University graduate with a degree in English and a minor in Cinema Studies, she has spent the past decade turning pop culture obsession into a career. Natalie specializes in the fantasy genre, with particular expertise in the worlds of Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, and romantasy sensations like Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series. She has covered the Game of Thrones franchise for years and now extensively reports on House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms—because winter may come and go, but Westeros is forever. Her work extends beyond the page. Natalie has interviewed cast members from series including A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, It: Welcome to Derry, Dune: Prophecy, and The Penguin, and has reported from major entertainment events such as the Academy Awards and New York Comic Con. In addition to Winter is Coming, her writing and editorial leadership can be found across Mental Floss, Show Snob, Netflix Life, and other leading entertainment platforms, as well as on Winter is Coming’s TikTok and Instagram. When she’s not overseeing content strategy or breaking down the latest fantasy epic, you can usually find her at the movie theater.
