It’s a great time to be a fan of fantasy, as we’ve got both The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and House of the Dragon airing their premiere seasons right now. The two prequel series are different enough to enjoy them both at the same time, though it’s fun to have some friendly competition and pit them against each other, which we’ve been doing each week. While The Rings of Power is visually gorgeous and it’s been awesome following along with the many characters’ journeys, the politics and shocking moments in House of the Dragon keep us on the edge of our seats.
