HBO is here to class up zombies in trailer for The Last of Us

Between The Walking DeadFear the Walking DeadTales of the Walking Dead and other shows about the walking dead, is there room for another zombie drama on TV? HBO says yes. They just released the first proper trailer for The Last of Us, based on the beloved video game series from “the creator of the award-winning miniseries Chernobyl Craig Mazin” and “acclaimed video game creator Neil Druckmann.” Watch below:

Game of Thrones veterans Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey play Joel and Ellie, respectively a hardened survivor of the zombie apocalypse and a young girl who may hold the key to curing it. Expectations are high for this show, and I’m hoping it delivers.

The Last of Us will be out sometime in 2023; that’s all we know for now.

There have been a lot of trailers coming out lately. Namely, Netflix held its Tudum event over the weekend and showed off a lot of stuff, including an advance look at the upcoming second season of its fantasy series Shadow and Bone. Check it out:

Once again, all we know is that the new episodes will be out sometime in 2023.
