Hard as it is to believe, AMC is currently airing the last-ever episodes of The Walking Dead. This show has been on for over 10 seasons, so it’s surreal to think that it’s about to end. But you know what they say about all good things.

That said, AMC is readying a network of Walking Dead spinoffs that will keep this franchise going for a long while yet. There’s a show about Maggie and Negan, one about Rick and Michonne, and one about Daryl Dixon. Norman Reedus, who has played Daryl since the beginning, recently dropped the poster for his new show, which includes the title. Check it out below:

Daryl Dixon. Short and to the point.

The Walking Dead spinoff will take Daryl Dixon to Paris

The poster shows the Eiffel Tower of Paris, France, but with a spooky green filter. It looks like Daryl is going European.

Why is Daryl headed to France? We’re not sure, although at the end of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, we saw that there’s apparently a faster, smarter variant of zombie at large there, so he’ll be in a lot of danger.

We also don’t know how Daryl would cross the Atlantic given that cross-continental transportation is — we imagine — pretty shot in the wake of the zombie apocalypse. But where there’s a will (and maybe a civilization with a suitably large boat) there’s a way.

Daryl Dixon should premiere sometime in 2023.
