It’s the end next Friday when the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power finale premieres on Amazon Prime Video. The end of the first season, that is. If you’ve been hooked on the prequel series and want more, don’t worry. Filming for the second season has already begun, and there’s no way the studio would just drop a show with a budget like this that quickly. Showrunners are planning for a five-season run, so we’ll have to wait and see if that happens.

The Rings of Power started out relatively slow and became pretty action-packed in the most recent episodes, leaving all eyes on the series as it heads into its final week. If you find yourself in certain areas of the United States, you might be lucky enough to get to watch the episode a bit early, in the evening of Thursday, October 13.
