More than anything, I want more Harry Potter content. I’ve been waiting for Warner Bros. Discovery to make some moves on that front, but things are still up in the air. However, CEO David Zaslav recently mentioned potentially working with J.K. Rowling on more Harry Potter stories, and I am intrigued.

Over the years, we’ve heard from Harry Potter alum regarding whether or not they would return to make more movies. While most have shut the book on that, actor Ralph Fiennes has a different outlook. Speaking to Variety, Fiennes sounded very open to reprising his role as Voldemort, aka “He Who Must Not Be Named.”

“Sure, of course,” Fiennes said when asked if he would play Voldemort again. In fact, if Rowling or Warner Bros. picked up the phone and called him, he would be 100% ready to jump back in, “[n]o question about it.”

Ralph Fiennes would play Voldemort again, “no question about it”

Fiennes has come to Rowling’s defense regarding the “verbal abuse” she has received after airing her controversial views on trans people. Others, including Daniel Radcliffe, have condemned Rowling’s transphobic comments.

It’s unclear how the controversies around Rowling may complicate getting the gang back together. If Warner Bros. Discovery puts the right team together and offers enough money, anything is possible. And even if not everyone is willing to group up again, Ralph Fiennes could always do a Voldemort spinoff? Let’s see what the future holds!
