A Game of Thrones show is coming to Las Vegas: Dragons

HBO already has a Game of Thrones prequel on the air in House of the Dragon, but that’s just the beginning of the exciting spinoff opportunities. A few days ago, we also got an intriguing teaser for something called Game of Thrones: Dragons, a Vegas show that could be just about anything:

The teaser shows dragons flying over a decimated Vegas strip. What does this mean? If I know Vegas, and I’ve been there once so I’m qualified to speak on it, they’re planning some big flashy stage show, with giant animatronic dragons and dancers dressed like Daenerys and Jon Snow leaping across the stage.

The official website touts Game of Thrones: Dragons as “An attraction like nothing before is being forged in Las Vegas.” Again, that’s unhelpfully vague. Maybe they got their hands on a real dragon? I’d pay to see that.

Game of Thrones play about the Tourney at Harrenhal is coming

We also don’t have information on when and where this show might start, let alone the ability to buy tickets. You can give them your email so they can give you updates, though.

It’s possible this isn’t even a stage show, but I assume that’s what comes to Vegas. And it wouldn’t be the only Game of Thrones stage production in development. We’ve also heard of a play about the Tourney at Harrenhal in development, coming to Broadway at some unspecified time in the future.

Game of Thrones: live and in person, coming to stage somewhere, somehow, at some point in the future. We’ll stay tuned for you.
