No, Mille Bobby Brown isn’t starring in a Stranger Things spinoff about Eleven
By Dan Selcke
Stranger Things is one of the most popular original series to ever come out of Netflix, and it only has one season left.
But Netflix isn’t likely to let that be the end forever. Stranger Things is too lucrative. They’ll want spinoffs. They’ll want prequels, sequels and whatever else you can give them.
What about a spinoff show about Eleven, for instance, the psychic girl at the center of the story played by breakout star Millie Bobby Brown? There have been rumors of such a thing happening, but the Stranger Things writers were quick to shut them down on Twitter. “Millie Bobby Brown will be back as Eleven in a new Stranger Things spin-off, which will be entirely separate from that other spin-off,” reported Giant Freakin Robot, not a publication known for its unwavering devotion to truth. “Not true,” the Stranger Things writers responded simply.

That said, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have said they’re working on spinoff ideas. They just haven’t said what they are, although apparently cast member Finn Wolfhard (Mike) stumbled on the correct answer when he talked to them about it. So it’s guessable!
As for Millie Bobby Brown, she sounds like she’s not looking to reprise her role as Eleven after the final season, although she’s down for someone else to take over. “I’d love to see another bald-headed 10-year-old get given that opportunity,” she said. “I would help her navigate it.”
But first things first: expect the fifth and final season of Stranger Things to come out on Netflix sometime in 2024.
