The title of one of the upcoming Avatar Studios projects may have leaked via the LinkedIn profile of a Paramount Studios employee named Jen Klatt.

Under work experience, Klatt’s profile said that she was working on an upcoming project called Avatar the Last Airbender: Echoes and Aftershocks. There has been no formal announcement from Nickelodeon or its parent company Paramount Studios regarding a project of that name. Klatt has since edited that part of her profile to say, “Avatar-Untitled.”

Avatar Studios and Netflix are both making new The Last Airbender projects

Nickelodeon announced the launch of Avatar Studios back in 2021, with the original creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender Brian Konietzko and Michael DiMartino serving as the co-chief creative officers of the newly formed studio. The pair was originally part of the creative team behind Netflix’s upcoming live-action remake of the Nickelodeon show, but they departed the project over creative differences.

Avatar Studios is currently working on an animated show focusing on the Earth Avatar who comes after Korra, which will release some time in 2025. It’s also working on several animated films. It’s unclear what Echoes and Aftershocks is the title of a movie or a show. According to Avatar News, one of these will focus on the original team Avatar as adults, another will be a Zuko solo film and a third will follow Avatar Kyoshi.

I would bet on Echoes and Aftershocks being the name of the movie focusing on the adult team Avatar, as that project is likely going to be released before the others and the title would fit with the team trying to deal with the aftershocks of a 100-year war against the Fire Nation. This is all speculation however, as there have been no formal announcements on these upcoming projects.
