Though last week’s episode of The Last of Us wasn’t nearly as emotional as the one before it, Episode 4, titled “Please Hold to My Hand,” progressed the story along nicely with Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie’s (Bella Ramsey) relationship. It’s become unmistakably clear four weeks into the first season that this show doesn’t miss, and we can expect each episode to be at least solid, if not outright awesome.
The HBO adaptation of the best-selling video game follows the unlikely duo of Joel and Ellie as they travel toward Wyoming in hopes of finding Joel’s brother Tommy (Gabriel Luna), and Episode 4 proved it’s going to be a very complicated journey. We got to meet Melanie Lynksey’s character Kathleen, along with a brief introduction to brothers Henry (Lamar Johnson) and Sam (Keivonn Woodard). We’ll hopefully get more backstory for these three new characters in Episode 5.
Speaking of Episode 5, viewers can expect to watch the new episode, titled “Endure and Survive,” a bit earlier this week. Because Super Bowl LVII takes place this Sunday evening, HBO opted to release the next episode of The Last of Us on Friday to avoid the competition. That means fans can tune in for Episode 5 tonight on HBO Max and HBO On Demand! Here are all the details you need to know so you don’t miss a minute.
What time is The Last of Us on tonight? How to watch
Start Time: Friday, February 10 at 9:00 p.m. EST
