Did you see the blooper in the latest episode of The Last of Us?

The Last of Us is one of the most expensive shows HBO has ever produced, and considering they made Game of Thrones, that’s saying something. But even the most lavish productions aren’t immune from mistakes; in fact, you could argue that the more complex a shoot, the higher their likelihood. We all remember the famous errant coffee cup that shows up at Winterfell during the final season of Game of Thrones, right?

Now fans have spotted a whoopsie on the set of HBO’s new zombie drama. In the latest episode of The Last of Us, “Kin,” Joel and Ellie must cross a river in the wintery Wyoming wilderness. It’s known in those parts as the “river of death,” since people who cross it tend not to be seen alive again.

It’s a foreboding scene: Ellie and Joel against the mysteries of the wild…only it’s not just Ellie and Joel. In an overhead shot of the bridge, you can see some crew members nestled among the trees:

I remember when people made a big deal over the Game of Thrones coffee cup, but overall, little mistakes like this aren’t worth getting upset about. When there are so many moving parts on a set, small oversights are bound to happen, and most likely HBO is already working to digitally remove the crew members from this shot just as they removed the coffee cup from all future airings of that Game of Thrones episode, “The Last of the Starks.”

New episodes of The Last of Us air Sunday nights on HBO at 9:00 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CST. Keep a sharp eye out for infected, raiders, and bloopers.
