At long last, it’s time to travel to a galaxy far, far away for a new season of The Mandalorian! The very first live-action Star Wars show on Disney+ premiered back in November 2019 alongside the launch of the streaming service, and it was an instant hit. No Star Wars show since has been able to live up to the acclaim and success that The Mandalorian has seen. The beloved series follows protagonist Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), who in the first season meets Grogu, aka Baby Yoda.

After bonding with the baby, the Mandalorian decides to protect it, and each season so far has chronicled their adventures together. It feels like forever since the second season was released in 2020, so if you need a refresher on what happened (or if you never watched The Book of Boba Fett), check out our Mandalorian season 3 primer here.

Based on the preview for The Mandalorian season 3, I’m certain we’re in for another awesome installment. Check out the trailer below while we wait for the premiere to be released in the early hours of Wednesday morning:

It’s been reported that the first episode of The Mandalorian season 3 is only 35 minutes and 16 seconds long, which is definitely on the shorter side, especially for a premiere. Let’s hope that’s all the time they need to introduce the new storyline and pack in enough action and emotion!
