5. Two Face: Played by Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem is yet another Dune alum. He would be a great fit for Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, one of Batman’s most iconic foes.

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight featured Aaron Eckhart’s Two-Face playing second fiddle to Heath Ledger’s Joker, who overshadowed pretty much everyone. Eckhart spent most of the movie as Harvey Dent and only turned into Two-Face towards the end. I think Bardem could do a great job with both halves of Harvey’s personality, especially if he got to spend a good chunk of time with each.

Bardem has a wealth of experience playing villains, perhaps most notably as the insane Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men and Silva in Skyfall. If Bardem can tap into that unhinged vibe for Two-Face, we have an iconic performance waiting to happen.

What villains would you like to see in The Batman 2? Did we forget one of your favorites, or hit on a villain or actor that you’d especially love to have go toe-to-toe with Pattinson’s Batman? Let us know in the comments!
