Season 3 of The Mandalorian has reached its end with “The Return,” an action-packed finale that sees the Mandalorians finally retake their homeworld from the nefarious Moff Gideon.

Given that the show’s second season had a post-credits scene that set up The Book of Boba Fett spinoff series, you might be wondering if it’s worth sitting through the credits this time around. After all, it’s practically a Disney tradition to always tease the next project after the end of the current one.

If so, you’re in the right place. Everything to know about The Mandalorian season 3 and whether it has a post credits scene is below. There will of course be spoilers for “The Return.”

The Mandalorian post-credits scene

Unlike season 2 of The Mandalorian, season 3’s finale does not have a post-credits scene.

Following the battle on Mandalore, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) adopts Grogu so that he can become his full-fledged apprentice. Per Mandalorian tradition, the two must then wander the galaxy in order for Grogu to learn the ropes of the bounty hunting trade. Clued in to the rise of various Imperial factions by Gideon, the two sign on to hunt down Imperial remnants for the New Republic before heading back to Nevarro to repair IG-11.

It’s there that their old friend Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) gifts them a cabin to serve as their home base between journeys. The season ends with Grogu and Din hanging out in their new digs, and for our money this was a great choice. After everything that happened in season 3, the fact that the show didn’t try to sneak in some last minute teaser only makes the finale feel like an even better stopping point to the saga for now.

The Mandalorian season 3 is now streaming in its entirety on Disney+!
