15 inspiring The Wheel of Time tattoos before the Amazon show returns

The Prophecies of the Dragon, in tattoo form
Other fans have gotten text from The Wheel of Time books tattooed on their bodies, like this metal passage prophesying the Dragon’s return:
"The Dragon shall be Reborn, and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth at his rebirth. In sackcloth and ashes shall he clothe the people, and he shall break the world again by his coming, tearing apart all ties that bind. Like the unfettered dawn shall he blind us, and burns us, yet shall the Dragon Reborn confront the Shadow at the Last battle, and his blood shall give us the Light. Let tears flow, O ye people of the world. Weep for your salvation."
The tattoo only chose a few lines from that prophecy, but I wanted you to enjoy the full effect. Not the cheeriest of prophecies.
Another quotation that shows up in a lot of tattoos is a common saying in the Borderlands: “Death is lighter than a feather. Duty heavy as a mountain.”

This fan got those quotes tattooed on their body with Japanese characters, in part because Robert was inspired to write by a Japanese proverb.
