How to watch The Wheel of Time season 2 Episodes 1-3 (Release date and time)
One of the best fantasy shows on TV is returning for its second season, with Amazon Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time adaptation coming back with new episodes this week. Based on the best-selling book series of the same name written by Robert Jordan (and later finished with help from Brandon Sanderson), there was certainly a lot of pressure to get this show right. Fortunately, the first season turned out to be a pleasant surprise as it did the source material justice and made for a thoroughly entertaining watch.
The season 1 finale left viewers with a ton of questions as to where the storyline will go next, and we don’t have to wait long to get answers! The trailer for The Wheel of Time season 2 promises more action and suspense as Rand grows more powerful. We’ll also be seeing more of those Trollocs, the monsters in the Dark One’s army, as well as a major recast as actor Dónal Finn steps into the role of Mat.
Like the first season, The Wheel of Time season 2 will consist of eight episodes, and the first three will drop all at once this week. Though the official release date is Friday, September 1, Prime Video typically releases new episodes of their shows at midnight GMT time, meaning fans in the United States can start tuning in as early as the afternoon of Thursday, August 31.
