Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Kureha

Jamie Lee Curtis, an actress who has earned her iconic status with memorable roles in films like Halloween and Knives Out, is literally the perfect fit for the character of Dr. Kureha, who’s known for her eccentricity and brilliance. Over the years, Curtis has shown us over and over her exceptional ability to balance dramatic intensity with comedic flair. These skills make her a the one and only contender for this part. Dr. Kureha requires an actress who can effortlessly switch between moments of humor and profound insight, and Curtis can do that in her sleep.

Jamie Lee Curtis basically embodies the essence of Dr. Kureha. Her portrayal of strong, determined characters, paired with her ability to deliver comedic zingers, makes her a perfect match for Drum Island’s renowned doctor. Dr. Kureha isn’t just any physician; she has wit, wisdom, and total wackiness. With Curtis stepping into her shoes, one can easily see the doctor’s rich and multi-layered personality coming to life. Curtis will bring the humor and the depth.

Bobby Cannavale as Crocodile

Bobby Cannavale, with his handsome face and commanding screen presence, has been a dependable actor for years. His amazing ability to give depth to antagonistic characters is on display in his portrayal of Gyp Rosetti in Boardwalk Empire. Cannavale brings layers to Rosetti, artfully showcasing a spectrum of emotions rangoing from cold-blooded ruthlessness to subtle vulnerability. This makes him a great candidate to step into the shoes of Crocodile, a Warlord of the Sea.

Crocodile is a complex, menacing, captivating character who calls for an actor of impeccable calibre. Cannavale would be able to give us a performance that is as magnetic as it is intimidating, embodying the essence of the warlord while also revealing the layers beneath.
