Perrin and Aviendha

In the showPerrin, Aviendha and Hopper meet up with two other Aiel Maidens of the Spear, Bain and Chiad. They tell Aviendha that another one of their spear sisters was killed, and Aviendha asks for Bain and Chiad to beat her to erase her debt of honor, since she is the leader of their group and therefore responsible for the dead Maiden of the Spear.

Perrin and Aviendha talk about Perrin’s dead wife Layla and the Aiel honor system ji’e’toh. Later, they arrive at the city of Falme.

In the books: Perrin goes to Falme with Rand and Mat through a portal stone. Instead of Aviendha, Perrin travels with an Aiel named Gaul following the events at Falme, which is where he learns about ji’e’toh. Hopper is also dead by this point in the series.

In the books, Aviendha, Bain and Chiad are all introduced during Nynaeve, Egwene and Elayne’s journey to Tear in The Dragon Reborn. This takes place after certain climactic events in Falme which we’ll probably see depicted in next week’s season finale.
