The second season of Invincible, Amazon Prime Video’s excellent adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s comic book, is right around the corner! Come the end of this week, we’ll be watching the continuing adventures of Mark Grayson, Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and the many other characters who popular this compelling superhero universe. And probably meeting a lot more besides. Check out the season 2 poster below:

In this poster, Mark — aka Invincible — stares into a puddle of blood on the ground and sees his father Omni-Man reflected back at him. You surely remember that the first season ended with Mark and his dad getting in a huge fight that left Mark a bloodied mess. Meanwhile, Omni-Man felt so ambivalent about his mission to take over Earth that he left in a rage for parts unknown.

We have a few days to wait yet for the new season of Invincible. However, the team did release a special exploring the origins of Atom Eve back in July. It’s every bit as good as a normal episode of the show, so feel free to check it out!

Invincible season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on November 3. We’ll four new episodes over the first four weeks. Then the show will take a break, and we’ll get another four episodes beginning sometime in 2024, hopefully within the first few months of the new year.
